Hitomi Kammai

Hitomi is an influential and unique artist. After winning a gold medal with her  first charcoal drawing  she began to exhibit her works in Paris in 2002 . Her works have been written about by both web and paper based media and exhibited in museums and commercial galleries.

My recent  abstract works are an   archaeological discovery about the trace of humanity. In 2011 the nuclear explosion in japan reminded me of the fact that humans can  cause horrible destruction. Since then my theme is more focused on the light and shadow of ourselves; however  the total series forms the praise of existence which reconciles two conflicting principles.
